  1. Check

    Images spoiled by cloud, haze or shadow are marked inconclusive.

  2. Compare

    We look for a new building or extension, cleared land or earthwork, or a new track or enclosure.

  3. Confirm

    A reviewer must accept each possible change first.

  4. Record

    Each reviewed change is designed to come with a record of its source, licence, capture time, review and handling.

Questions, answered

What stage is ShieldNex at?

ShieldNex is a research prototype that is still in development. We have no users yet. We will not claim accuracy, timing or prices until we can back them up.

Can I watch live video of my plot?

No. No satellite system offers live video of private land today. ShieldNex is designed to compare images taken at different times.

What happens when it is cloudy?

Each check is designed to return one of three results: change found, no change, or inconclusive. If cloud or haze hides your plot, the result says so. We do not guess.

Can a ShieldNex report be used in court?

We cannot promise that. Each report is designed to record where its images came from and who reviewed them. Admissibility and evidentiary weight are always for the court to decide.

Is ShieldNex a law firm or a security agency?

No. ShieldNex is designed to report physical change on a plot you have enrolled. It does not decide ownership, title or whether a change is lawful.

Serving far from home, or living abroad?

Tell us the state and district of your plot. Each family decides and consents for itself, and we monitor private plots only.
